Conclusions

  1. 1.

The reaction of bis(cyclopentadienyl)zirconium dichloride or the dibromide with the salts CF3CO2Ag, CH3CO2Na, NaBr, and LiBr leads to the mixed bis(cyclopentadienyl) compounds of Zr with various ligands in the molecule.

  2. 2.

The reaction of Cp2ZrCl2 with excess CH3COOH in the presence of triethylamine at ∼20° gave CpZr-(OCOCH3)3.
