Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Study has been made of the mass spectra of the acetals of cyclopropane aldehydes, some containing the chlorine atom in the cyclopropane ring and some without this atom, and the general nature of the fragmentation regrouping processes in this series established.

     
  2. 2.

    These regrouping processes are favored by the presence of chlorine atoms in the cyclopropane ring.
