Dipole moments and infrared spectra of organolead acylates

Conclusions

The dipole moments and IR spectra of a number of triethyllead acylates and diaryllead diacylates were measured. An octahedral conformation, with a trans-arrangement of the aryl groups, is the most probable for the organolead diacylates.
