Mass spectrometric identification of monoglycosylglycerins in the form of esters of phenylboric acid

Conclusions

The mass spectra of phenylboric esters of 3-O-α-D-glucopyranosyl-, 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-, 3-O-α-D-galactopyranosyl-, 3-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-, and 3-O-α-D-mannopyranosyl-L-glycerins were studied. The mass spectra permit a distinguishment of the enumerated compounds.
