Notiz über die Darstellung der isomeren Diphenyl-(carboxyphenyl)-phosphine und deren Oxide

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über die Darstellung der drei isomeren Diphenyl-(carboxyphenyl)-und der Tris-carboxyphenyl-phosphinoxide berichtet und ein neuer Syntheseweg für m- und p-Diphenyl-(carboxyphenyl)-phosphin (durch Reaktion von Kaliumdiphenyl-phosphid mit Chlorbenzoesäureäthylester) angegeben. In einer Nebenreaktion wird dabei der Ester durch (C₆H₅)₂PK unter Bildung von Äthyldiphenylphosphin und freier Chlorbenzoesäure gespalten.

Abstract

The preparation of the three isomeric diphenyl-(carboxyphenyl)-and the tris-carboxyphenyl-phosphine oxides is described and a new method for the syntheses of m- and p-diphenyl-(carboxyphenyl)-phosphine is given. These compounds are prepared by reaction of potassium diphenyl-phosphide with ethyl chlorobenzoate. In a side reaction the ester is split up into ethyldiphenyl phosphine and free chlorobenzoic acid by the action of (C₆H₅)₂PK.
