Summary

  1. 1.

    It was shown that a linear relationship exists between the frequencies of valence vibrations and electronic charges of C-H bonds in simple hydrocarbons of various classes.

     
  2. 2.

    Three different methods of calculating the electronic charges of bonds in acetylene give very similar results.
