Summary
-
1.
The excess phases formed in alloys consisting of a six-component nickel solid solution of variable TiC content were isolated electrochemically and investigated.
-
2.
No excess phase was isolated by anode solution of the alloy containing 0.1% TiC, which was confirmed by data on the microstructure of from x-ray analysis.
-
3.
Alloys containing 1.0, 4.0, and 7.5% of TiC were shown to contain only two phases: a γ-nickel solid solution and a carbide phase with the complex composition Ti(Nb, W, Mo, Cr)C.
-
4.
According to x-ray structural-analysis data, the carbide phase isolated had a face-centered cubic lattice, corresponding to the titanium carbide lattice with a variable parameter (from 4.38 to 4.33 kX), depending on the variable content of NbC and TiC in it.
