Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Division of chemical science Aims and scope

Summary

  1. 1.

A study was made of the effect of additions of tripeptide ester on the kinetics of the polycondensation of glycine ethyl ester in presence of carbon dioxide.

  2. 2.

The polycondensation of glycine ethyl ester proceeds in two stages.

  3. 3.

Addition of peptide esters accelerates the polycondensation of glycine ester; this effect is due to shortening of the duration of the first stage.
