Summary
-
1.
The hydrazine salts of sebacic and phthalic acids were prepared and their properties were investigated.
-
2.
The polycondensation of sebacic acid with hydrazine at a molar ratio of 1:1 leads to the formation of a polyhydrazide.
-
3.
The polycondensation of dicarboxylic acids with hydrazine at a molar ratio of one of the acid to two and more of the hydrazine under pressure leads to the formation of a “polyaminotriazote.”
-
4.
A mechanism was proposed for the formation of polymers containing 4-amino-4-H-1,2,4-triazole units.
