Summary

  1. 1.

In the ternary systems Na2O-Al2O3-SiO2 and K2O-Al2O3-SiO2 boundaries have been established between the fields of mullite and corundum.

  2. 2.

The direction of the boundary mentioned agrees with the eutectic point found by us previously in the system alumina-silica.
