The reaction of trifluoroacetylcyclopentadienylmanganesetricarbonyl with triethyl phosphite

Conclusions

Trifluoroacetylcyclopentadienylmanganesetricarbonyl reacts in the cold with triethyl phosphite to form a cyclic pentaoxyphosphorane which has unusual hydrolytic stability.
