Über die Verwertung von Thymin und Thymidin als DNS-Vorstufe in Chlorella pyrenoidosa

Zusammenfassung

Es wurden Untersuchungen über den Einbau von Thymin und Thymidin in synchronisierte Chlorella-Zellen während der S-Phase durchgeführt. Chlorella verfügt über Enzymsysteme, die sie zur Verwertung beider Vorstufen für die DNS-Synthese befähigen. Der Einbau des Thymidins erfolgt etwa 10mal stärker als der des Thymins.

Abstract

Investigations have been carried out on the incorporation of thymine and thymidine in synchronized chlorella cells during the S phase. Chlorella contains enzyme systems capable of using both precursors for DNA synthesis, but thymidine is incorporated 10 times more rapidly than thymine.
