Nonsteady-state propagation of a system of cracks in a brittle material

Abstract

An approximate equation for the nonsteady-state propagation of rectilinear cracks was derived and the problem of the equilibrium and propagation of a symmetrical systems of cracks in an elastic-brittle material was analyzed.
