Abstract
The phase relation of the system toluene-AlBr3−HBr was investigated at 23°. The three components form a homogeneous liquid phase in the following concentration range (in mole fractions): Toluene: 0.33–0.70 mole/mole, AlBr3: 0.15 to 0.50 mole/mole, HBr: 0.05–0.34 mole/mole.
