Information characteristics of the periods and subperiods in the periodic table

Abstract

Information characteristics of periods ands-, p-, d-, andf-subperiods in the Periodic Table were introduced and some of their properties were studied. Conclusion were drawn in support ofVillar's ideas concerning the position of lanthanides and actinides in the Periodic Table, as well asKlechkowski's ideas concerning the importance of (n+l)-groups.
