Conclusions

  1. 1.

The influence of a large group of metal cations on the course of the reaction of a second azo-combination of monoazo-derivatives of chromotropic acid was studied. The best catalysts are salts of the alkali and alkaline-earth elements.

  2. 2.

The indices of reactivity of model forms of compounds in the approximations of isolated and reacting molecules were calculated by the Hückel MO LCAO method. An interpretation of the reactivity in the latter approximation was given.

  3. 3.

Molecular diagrams are cited for the azo-components, their complexes with Ca and Be, and the polarized products.
