Conclusions

  1. 1.

The rate constant of the reaction of atomic hydrogen with ethane was determined by measuring the first limits of ignition of hydrogen-oxygen mixtures, containing small additions of ethane.

  2. 2.

From the same data we determined the rate constant of the reaction H+O2=OH+O, the value of which is in good agreement with the literature data.
