Conclusions

The gaseous products obtained by dehydration of butan-2-ol on NaX and NiNaX zeolites contain but-1-ene, and cis- and trans-but-2-ene, of which the concentration ratio is similar for these two zeolites.

The composition of the gaseous products varies with the volumetric flow rate and temperature. With an increase in the contact time, but-1-eneisomerizes to trans-but-2-ene.
