Molecular complexes of chloranil with thiourea in methanol

Abstract

Spectrophotometric studies of chloranil and thiourea complexes in methanol have been made at two temperatures. Values of formation constant,K c , and heats of formation, ΔH, have been calculated. The sulphur of thiourea provided the donor sites for interaction.
