New ϰ-(Kappa)-Phases

Abstract

Zr(Hf)9Re4B and Hf9Os4B are new ϰ-borides. Furthermore ϰ-oxides Zr(Hf)9{Mo, W,Re}4O3 have been detected. The various modes of filling the voids in ϰ-phases will be discussed.
