  1. 1.

    We have studied the effect of buffer capacity and nature of the buffer solution on E1/2 of the pofarographic waves of nitrobenzene, phenylnitromethane, and 1-nitropropane.

     
  2. 2.

    There is an effect of the kinetics of protonization of the nitro group on the rate of electrochemical reduction of nitro compounds at a mercury dropping electrode in acid solutions under the action of the acid solution.
