Ti3AlC wird aus Ti-Hydrid, Aluminium und Kohlenstoff dirch Heißpressen hergestellt. Diese Phase ist mit den Perowskit-Carbiden isotyp. Der Gitterparameter wird zu:a=4,156 Å bestimmt.
