Zusammenfassung

Die Zersetzung des Bis(β-phenoxypropionyl)peroxids verläuft ohne Eliminierung von Äthylen. Versuche zur Synthese von 4-Phenoxy-1,4-dihydrobenzoe-oder-naphthoesäuren ergaben nur Phenol und die entsprechenden aromatischen Säuren.

Abstract

Bis(β-phenoxypropionyl)peroxide decomposes without elimination of ethylene. Attempts to synthesise 4-phenoxy-1,4-dihydrobenzoic or-naphthoic acids led only to fully aromatic products by elimination of phenol.
