Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The acid dissociation constants of the aquo complex (NH3)(CN)2(H2O)2Pt2+ formed in acidic medium was determined upon titration of solutions of (NH3)2(CN)2(OH)2Pt with nitric, sulfuric, and perchloric acids.

     
  2. 2.

    Applying dispersion analysis resulted in showing the absence of an effect of the complex concentration in solution and the nature of the acid used for titration on the values of pK1 and pK2, which confirms the absence of formation of nitrato, sulfato, and perchloric complexes in solution.
