Synthesis of alkylcyclosilazanes containing silicon-attached hydrogen

Summary

  1. 1.

    Triethylcyclotrisilazane and tetraethylcyclotetrasilazane were synthesized and characterized.

  2. 2.

    The ammonolysis of dichloromethylsilane gives tetramethylcyclotetrasilazane and an individual product, which consisted of condensed rings and had the empirical formula (CH3SiH)6N2(NH)3. Both products were isolated and characterized.
