Conclusions
-
1.
The thermal decomposition of fluorochloro-, fluorobromo-, and fluoroiododinitromethane in the gas phase was studied.
-
2.
The results obtained are in accord with the previously established principles of the effect of halogen substituents on the dissociation energy of the C-N bond and the rate of decomposition of aliphatic nitro compounds.
