Conclusions

The authors study the effects of electron-donor and electron-acceptor substituents on hydrogen exchange in the cyclopentadienyl ring of monosubstituted CMT in the presence of a base; it has been established that the electron effects of donor and acceptor substituents in the cyclopentadienylmanganesetricarbonyl system are very weak.
