Intensity of N-O valence vibrations in nitroalkanes and halogen-substituted nitroalkanes

Summary

The intensity of NO2 group va'lence vibrations and, therefore, the electrooptical parameters of the N-O bond in nitroalkanes and halogen substituted nitro compounds is independent of the number of nitro groups and halogen atoms combined with the same carbon atom.
