Mercury derivatives of manganese cyclopentadienyl and methylcyclopentadienyltricarbonyl

Summary

Manganese cyclopentadienyl and methylcyclopentadienyltricarbonyl are mercurated just as readily as ferrocene and benzene by mercuric acetate in alcoholic solution, forming mono and dimercurated products.
