Summary

  1. 1.

    When treated with tertiary amines, (alkylthio)borine turners are converted into (alkylthio)borine-trialkyl-amines.

     
  2. 2.

    Secondary amines react with (alkylthio)borine turners with formations of (alkylthio)borine-dialkylamines.

     
  3. 3.

    In the pyrolysis of (methylthio)borine- and (ethylthio)borine-dialkylamines, (alkylrhio)(dialkylamino)-borines and bisdialkylaminodiboranes are obtained.

     
  4. 4.

    When heated, (butylthio)borine-diethylamine is converted into (butylthio)(diethylamine)borine.
