Summary

  1. 1.

We have proposed an apparatus for mixing heterogeneous systems and at the same time for measuring the apparent volume of precipitates or layers of liquid.

  2. 2.

The apparatus hastens the work, occupies little space, is comparatively noiseless, is simple to construct, and is convenient in use.

  3. 3.

The apparatus can be used in chemistry, physics, medicine, and other cases.
