Summary
β-Ethoxyacrolein, β-ethoxy-α-methylacrolein, β -ethoxy-α-amylacrolein, the sodium enolate of malonic dialdehyde, bromomalonic dialdehyde, and octatrien-2,4,6-dial-1,8 were reduced at a dropping mercury electrode. The reduction waves had diffusion character.
