Conclusions

  1. 1.

The polytherms of the surface tension of water and of an aqueous solution of NaCl were studied. On the polytherms of the surface tension of freshly redistilled water and a solution of NaCl prepared with it, there are periodic singularities with a period of 3°.

  2. 2.

The type of polytherm of the surface tension of water and of an aqueous solution of NaCl depends substantially upon the prehistory of the sample.

  3. 3.

The reproducibility of the periodic singularities is low- the period of the “sine curves” and temperatures of the minima are reproduced, but the amplitude and temperatures of the maxima are not reproduced.
