Conclusions

  1. 1.

A gas chromatographic separation of primary n-aliphatic amines, from methylamine to heptylamine, inclusively, was conducted on columns filled with the detergent “Novator” as an adsorbent, with liquid petrolatum, tristearin, Tween-80, and PEG-1000 as the liquid phases.

  2. 2.

A homologous dependence of the indices of retention of primary n-aliphatic amines was found; it is described by the equation of a straight line for each of the liquid phases used. A linear relationship of the indices to the boiling points of the amines was established for the same phases.
