Summary
-
1.
The reason for the branching of the albumin wave in the presence of cobalt salts is because at least two catalytically active complexes of the albumin with Co2+ ions, differing in both catalytic and adsorption properties, are present in the solution.
-
2.
The influence of various factors on the separate steps of the albumin wave was explained by the dissimilar action of these factors on each of the catalytic complexes.
