Conclusions
-
1.
The hydrochlorination of β-silicon-containing vinyl ethers was investigated and it was shown that at a temperature below 30°, the reaction proceeds with the formation of β -silicon-containing α-chloroethyl ethers.
-
2.
In contrast to the sulfur analogues, the β-silicon-containing vinyl sulfides, at a temperature above -15° and an excess of hydrogen chloride, the formation of β -silicon-containing α-chloro ethers is complicated by their cleavage at the Si-C bond. A reaction scheme is presented.
