Conclusions
We have obtained 4-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylbenzalchloride by reacting 4-hydroxy-3, 5-di-tert-butylbenzaldehyde with thionyl chloride, and have studied its reactions with alcohols, phenols, and amines.
