Determination of the rate constants of the reaction of atomic hydrogen with propane and n-butane

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The rate constant of the reaction of atomic hydrogen with propane was determined by measuring the first limits of ignition of hydrogen-oxygen mixtures containing small amounts of propane.

  2. 2.

    The rate constant of the reaction of the hydrogen atom with n-butane was obtained by the same method.

  3. 3.

    The rate constant of the reaction of atomic hydrogen with oxygen was determined.
