Conclusions
-
1.
The Na form of zeolites with a faujasite structure possesses a homogeneous adsorption field.
-
2.
In the exchange of Na+ ions for Ca2+, primarily the cations situated in the six-membered oxygen bridges are exchanged. After the appearance of Ca2+ ions on the walls of the cavities, an increase in the initial heats of adsorption of benzene is observed.
-
3.
The reduced heats of adsorption of benzene on Ca forms of synthetic faujasites are associated with the appearance in them of centers free of metal cations.
-
4.
On decationized type Y zeolite, the heat of adsorption of benzene is lower than on the cationic forms and does not depend upon the filling.
