Abstract

2-Dicyanomethylene-1.3-indandione reacts with aromatic amines and subst. hydrazines, resp., while HCN is eliminated. The anilino-(1.3-dioxo-2-indanylidene)acetonitriles obtained are orange to dark-red products with properties of dyes.

Zusammenfassung

2-Dicyanmethylen-1,3-indandion setzt sich mit arom. Aminen sowie mit subst. Hydrazinen unter Austausch von HCN um. Die erhaltenen Anilino-(1,3-dioxo-2-indanyliden)acetonitrile 2a–g sind intensiv gelb-orange bis dunkelrot und besitzen potentielle Farbstoffeigenschaften.
