Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Trimethyl phosphite reacts with phenylbenzoylimine to form 2,2,2-trimethoxy-3,5-diphenyl-3,4-diazaoxa-4-phospholene.

     
  2. 2.

    Saponification of the latter has given dimethyl N-benzamido-N-phenylphosphoramidate.
