Synthesis of some crotonic derivatives

Summary

Eight previously undescribed dicrotonic derivatives were synthesized. Synthesis was by the reaction of hexamethylene and 2,4-tolylene diisocyanates with crotonic acid, crotonamide, N-(hydroxymethyl)crotonamide, and N -2-hydroxyethylcrotonamide.
