Summary
-
1.
Measurements have been made of the absolute values of the rate constant for the reaction between oxygen atoms and ammonia at temperatures in the range 348–458°K and pressures 4, 8.5 and 15.5 mm Hg.
-
2.
It has been found that there is no activation energy in the reaction between oxygen atoms and ammonia.
