Zusammenfassung

l-Cystinyl-di-l-tyrosinamid, ein strukturell dem Oxytocin verwandtes, synthetisch erhaltenes Peptid, ist imstande, die oxytocin-inaktivierende Wirkung der im Blutserum schwangerer Frauen vorkommenden oxytocinase zu hemmen. Da das Cystinyl-di-tyrosinamid selbst durch die Oxytocinase gespalten wird, ist seine Wirkung die eines kompetitiven Substrats.
