Conclusions

Complexes of diphenyliodonium borofluoride with p-anisidine andβ-naphthylamine were obtained.

UV spectra were taken of the solutions of some diaryliodonium salts in aniline and the appearance was noted of a new maximum due to the absorption of the complexes of iodonium salts with aniline.

It is suggested that the complexes of iodonium salts with aniline are complexes with charge transfer.
