Conclusions

  1. 1.

We prepared some deuterated triphenylphosphines, containing deuterium in the o-, m-, and p-positions of one or all three phenyl rings, and also the oxides of some of them. The starting o-, m-, and p-deuterohalobenzenes were synthesized from the dihalobenzenes by the decomposition of the appropriate Grignard reagents with an excess of heavy water.

  2. 2.

Some diphenyl-m-p-tolylphosphines, deuterated in the methyl group, and their oxides, were synthesized.

  3. 3.

Methyldiphenylphosphine, containing deuterium in the methyl group, and some deuterated triphenyl-amines were prepared.
