Zur Kenntnis der ungesättigten 1,1-Disulfone

Contributions to the unsaturated 1.1-Disulfones

Abstract

Through condensation of diphenylsulfonylmethane with formaldehyde, aromatic or heterocyclic aldehydes 1.1-bis-(phenylsulfonyl)-1-alkenes were obtained, but condensation of the disulfone with higher aliphatic aldehydes leads to 1.1-bis-(phenylsulfonyl)-2-alkenes. With triethyl orthoformate ethoxymethylene-bis(phenylsulfonyl)-methane could be obtained. The reactivity of the unsaturated disulfones with regard to the double bond is examined in detail in the present paper.

Zusammenfassung

Während bei der Kondensation von Formaldehyd sowie aromatischen oder heterocyclischen Aldehyden mit Diphenylsulfonyl-methan 1,1-Bis-(phenylsulfonyl)-1-alkene erhalten wurden, liefert das Disulfon mit höheren aliphatischen Aldehyden 1,1-Bis(phenylsulfonyl)-2-alkene. Mit Orthoameisensäure-triäthylester konnte Äthoxymethylen-bis-(phenylsulfonyl)-methan gewonnen werden. Die Reaktionsfähigkeit der ungesättigten Disulfone im Hinblick auf die Doppelbindung wird in dieser Arbeit eingehend untersucht.
