Additivität der Substituenteneffekte in den Protonenresonanz-spektren von Cymantrenen

Zusammenfassung

An Hand der NMR-Spektren von etwa 150 ringsubstituierten Cyclopentadienyl-mangantricarbonylen wird gezeigt, daß sich die Lage der Ringprotonensignale weitgehend additiv aus den Beiträgen der einzelnen Substituenten berechnen läßt. An Beispielen werden Anwendung, Geltungsbereich und Grenzen dieses Konzepts diskutiert. In diesem Zusammenhang wurden u. a. Cymantren-β-dialdehyd, Cymantren-β-dinitril und Nitrocymantren erstmals dargestellt. Für die Verschiebungswerte von Substituenten am Cyclopentadienylring und an einem Benzolring gelten annähernd lineare Beziehungen zwischen der α-und ortho-bzw. der β-und meta-Position.

Abstract

On the basis of the NMR spectra of about 150 substituted cyclopentadienyl manganesetricarbonyls it is demonstrated, that the chemical shifts of ring protons may be calculated in a mainly additive manner from the contributions of the single substituents. Examples of the application, range and limits of this concept are discussed. Among other compounds cymantrene β-dicarboxaldehyde, cymantrene β-dinitrile, and nitrocymantrene were prepared for the first time. Approximately linear relationships between the α and ortho, and the β and meta position, resp., apply to the shifts of substituents on the cyclopentadienyl and benzene ring.
