Zusammenfassung
Substitution of silicon by arsenic, germanium and aluminium within Mn n Si2n−m chimney and ladder phases reveals the formation of Si11(Si0.99Al0.01)19 and of Si17(Si0.99Al0.01)29. The composition of the latter phase does obviously not occur as a binary manganese-silicide in contrast to Mn11Si19. Arsenic was found to be inert with respect to substitution and consequently to modification of multiples of the subcell.
