Die Kristallstruktur von Mo2BC wird ermittelt. Die Elementarzelle ist orthorhombisch und enthält vier Formeleinheiten. Die Umgebung des Bor-bzw. Kohlenstoffatoms entspricht einerseits dem Monoboridtyp und andererseits den kubischen Monocarbidstrukturen.
